Description
Remove 53 linear feet of existing rear/side yard cyclone fence (done). Install approximately 68 total linear feet of new, 6-foot-high residential wood privacy fence at 4136 Pennsylvania Ave. The fence structure will utilize 4" x 4" Ground Contact pressure-treated posts spaced 8 feet apart. Standard posts will be set in dedicated concrete footings dug to a depth of 30 inches to safely bypass the local frost line. To accommodate the existing concrete pad adjacent to the garage, three (3) posts will be surface-mounted using heavy-duty, exterior-rated steel post base brackets. Each bracket will be mechanically anchored to the pad using four (4) 1/2-inch concrete expansion anchors to ensure rigid lateral stability. The infill consists of horizontal 2" x 4" x 8' backing rails (3 per section) and 5/8" x 5-1/2" x 6' pressure-treated pine dog-ear pickets. The layout features two structural access points: one 3-foot single pedestrian gate at the rear side and one 4-foot pedestrian gate (6-foot total opening framework) connecting the main house walkway to the garage. All work will adhere strictly to St. Louis City residential accessory structure and height guidelines.
